Greg Miller kindly sent the following pictures that show his procedure for adjusting the backlash in the adjustable nuts on the Taig CNC milling machine. In practice you may find that adjusting as little as 1/16th of a turn will have the desired effect. Don't let anything bang into your leadscrew when it is extended as in the pictures.
